I'm a married mum of two and work as a part time primary school teacher. I'm used to the chaos that life with two children and a dog brings! However, a few years ago, I found myself not really coping with the day-to-day grind as well as I always had. I had become a stressy, snappy mum and I felt angry a lot, which is something I hated. I saw a counsellor and it was good to talk and make time for myself. After a few sessions, I felt a lot more like myself again. However, fast forward a few months and I found myself back in that same place, so I began to research other options. I came across Hypnotherapy and went along for the free consultation to find out more. That appointment changed my life. I was blown away by the science behind it all - how our brains work, and create these patterns of behaviour, and why we suffer the way we do. I couldn't wait to begin the therapy process, and I even googled 'how to become a hypnotherapist' when I got home - I was hooked! I went along for about 5 weeks, and it honestly became the best day of the week! Solution Focused Hypnotherapy looks at how we want our lives to be, and how to get there. It was such a positive experience and it changed me forever. So much so, that a few months later I enrolled on the diploma course. A year later, I qualified as a hypnotherapist, and have loved working with people to overcome their problems. People come to see me for such a range of reasons, and it's been such a privilege to see people reach their goals!
